Quicken 2017 freezes
This app really doesn’t give me anything more than my bank’s website does. John In Arkansas's Review of Quicken Reviewed on 12/17/18 12:47 PM No better than your bank’s website star star_border star_border star_border star_border
Can't wait for this company to have a different owner or at least more competent management! UPDATE3: 20181216 Here we go again! Several days (and counting) with the Mobile App showing no transactions or categories. The layout and color choice in the payee selection part of the Add Transaction screen poorly designed (or designed by someone who is not a frequent user!!!) It doesn’t remember the last account used 5.
QUICKEN 2017 FREEZES PC
The list of Payees is not the same as the one in the PC file. Transaction entry is still fairly dumb in that it doesn’t prioritize the payee list (eg, most recent, most often used, or used with Account). The App is very slow to get ready, much more so than the previous version and most other iOS apps.
QUICKEN 2017 FREEZES UPDATE
UPDATE2: 20181023 the recent update brings some improvements but some issues could be improved: 1. What a shame! Such a great franchise in the wrong hands. Not giving any more of my money to these people. The service is down often and cloud accounts keep disappearing rendering all the mobile data entry totally useless. UPDATE: it looks like the new management team is clueless about the Cloud. The search and new transaction icons are tiny and next to each other in the Overview screenĦ. Prompts for credentials and re-downloads all the data at seemingly random timesĥ. Doesn’t use most used payment options (eg, credit card)Ĥ.
QUICKEN 2017 FREEZES SOFTWARE
Although it is great to be able to enter transactions on the go, the developers have yet to produce software that adapta to the most common uses and needs of Quicken customers, IMO.ģ. Looking to take pretty pictures of your receipts? Use Quicken. Looking to keep track of loans and budgets? Use the Mint app. Somehow the free Mint app is leaps and bounds above the Quicken app in terms of features. I downloaded the official app and synced up my accounts. I finally made the decision to go back and purchase Quicken 2017. I enjoyed that it kept my bills and paydays as reminders. I used Mint for a few years, but didn't like that older transactions were lost in time. I have seen many come and go, but eventually settled on Mint. I began using different free apps to track my expenses and stay on top of bills.
My background: I used to use quicken "Back in the day", but stopped when I grew tired of purchasing new software every few years just to keep the services I enjoyed. Managermatt's Review of Quicken Reviewed on 12/30/17 7:25 PM App is a huge let-down star star star_border star_border star_border
